This weeks blog features a wonderful trio of processes to create something rather beautiful. The wonderfully rich black cover is the one and only Colorplan Ebony from GF Smith, five layers of glorious white ink are then applied using our HP Indigo 7900. From here the cover moves onto our Heidelberg to be hot foiled in rose gold 6037 from the Foilco range, the finishing touch is the rose gold wire used to bind the book together.

This weeks blog features some rather dazzling books. Production time was of the essence with this project with only seven days to produce three thousands books in total. This would have been quite straight forward had it not be hot foiled in holographic gold 210F00 from the Foilco range onto GF Smith’s Colorpan Ebony. The team at Century HQ pulled out all of the stops to enable us to deliver another exceptional project on time.

For those of you that read our blog, you are probably well aware that we like a challenge here at Century HQ!! So when this project landed in my inbox, I was rather excited. Printed using our HP Indigo 7900 onto Colorplan White Frost from the GF Smith range, before being triplexed with Colorplan Scarlet and foiled in 6210 & 6748 from the Foilco range. With overlapping foil it proved tricky but successful with both client and end user being thrilled with the final results.

This weeks blog features a surprise 60th birthday invite. Unsurprisingly we opted for another great shade from the Colorplan range the marvellous 540gsm Smoke. Foiled in one of my favourite shades from the Foilco range the fabulous SHLR which changes colour in the light to flaunt all the colours of the rainbow.
