Printed with six layers of white ink onto GF Smiths Gmund Treasury Value before being Die-Cut to shape on our trusty Heidelberg platen. This weeks blog features some magnificent business cards. The deep purple is printed digitally onto GF Smith’s Mohawk Superfine Ultra White using our Indigo 7900, the cards have then been duplexed to 704gsm before being blind embossed to perfection. Bringing Foil Blocking in house Foil blocking is something that Century Studios has been involved in for many years. However, it wasn’t until 2015 that we decided to bring it in house. By doing this, we have been able to speed up the production time enabling us to offer this beautiful process at a more competitive price. The decision to bring foil blocking in house was calculated. Although the hot foil process requires a block or die, commonly made from magnesium or copper, it gives a far superior result. FarSEE DETAILS

This week’s blog features a luxury notebook. We were thrilled when we were asked to produce a collection of notebooks with the emphasis on luxurious materials and finishes. GF Smith’s Callisto Diamond White was selected for the covers, with gold foil to the face and singer sewn spines I think we hit the nail on the head with this one. For more information or to discuss a project contact the Century Studios team.
